If you park in the garage underneath the science center, it's very convenient. For members, it's a flat rate of $5, for other visitors it's scales by the hour up to $19. The museum has four exhibit floors; there's three elevators or some impressively Iong staircases.
We planned a New England vacation for the family where we were going to visit all of the states. The only science center we have ever been to was our one back home in Pittsburgh. We wanted to experience what another state and cities science center was like so we put this on the agenda to surprise the kids.
The Connecticut Science Center is an outstanding destination for families, science enthusiasts, and curious minds of all ages. Located in the heart of Hartford, this state-of-the-art facility offers a wide range of interactive exhibits that engage visitors in the wonders of science and technology.
Been here several times with my kids. It’s a fun place for kids of all ages, but especially for school age kids who are curious about learning new things. The building has a cool design and some spectacular views of the river. Each level has a different theme and the staff are always so courteous and helpful.
