What parents say
Great place for children 1-7 maybe 8. They have many sectioned play areas with relevant toys and books including a small outside area. For my current two year old, the membership is well worth it since they open an hour early on weekdays for members only.
Best interactive place to bring kids under 8 years old. With the new expansion it now has more play areas than ever AND it has a Planetarium! My 5 year old and 3 year old have been coming consistently for almost two years and LOVE IT!!
Really awesome play place for toddlers/kids but... Quite a bit overpriced. Charging for parents is not right. And when you charge for parents, at least don't ask them to clean up the mess too.
Our little man loved it. We have been to a ton of children's museums and while this one isn't the best, it's still really good especially for the price. We got a membership and it'll pay for itself in just area visits. I wish the hours were a little better but that's about it.
Bringing a toddler?
Reviews and the venue's own info mention a dedicated toddler area or toddler times at Children’s Museum of Idaho — a separate space where little ones can play without dodging big kids.
