The most fun place in all of El Paso....well this is actually in New Mexico but still...kids had a blast here. The weather was nice and hot, employees were super friendly, all the ride worked except for two which were not operating due to high winds at the time.
I had such a great time there. We celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday there and I'm disabled but they were so accommodating. I'm going back with her and the rest of my family as soon as I can. Loved it!
As a family we visit Wester Playland at least once per season. In my opinion this place is best for kids that can ride the big rides, teenagers and above. It can get hot but there are a few shady places to relax in. The food isn’t over priced but the drinks are. The rides are fun and a few new ones have popped up.
When we were kids, going to the original Western Playland at Ascarate was a real treat. Even though we now live hundreds of miles away, bringing our kids each May was a fun tradition they all looked forward to.
