If you’re the kind of person that saves knick-knacks for undetermined future arts and crafts projects, Tinkertopia is for you. It floor to ceiling eyecandy junk, very much “one person’s trash is another’s treasure” kinda place.
Visiting from out of town, a friend brought me. I was equally inspired by the inventive, whimsical "product" labels and the contents of the packages, bins and jars. Trying not to add too much weight to my travels I picked out just a few lightweight items to take home (I'll have to plan ahead for the next visit).
Took our kid here, and it was a blast! It's very reasonably priced for a hour and a half of creative fun, and you get to take home what your kid makes. There is a lot more crafting materials available than what I showed in the photos. There was other people in the crafting area.
A couple of years ago I was looking for something to do with my granddaughters. They love to build stuff like crafts and LEGOS so when I found Tinkertopia I knew it was just what we needed. I was planning on taking them during summer vacation when they came for a visit but then the lockdown happened.
