The Shell is a wonderful place for young children to play and explore the world of sports! My kids love playing throughout the open space and utilizing the sports equipment that is perfect for their size!
So much fun for my 2 and a half year old, she even got to play on the gymnastics equipment! Well worth the 10 dollars for two hours. I only wish there were swings or a playground set.
With a 3 and 6 yo, we are frequent users of the shell during the winter and hot summer months. It’s such a great resource. This year our 6 year old requested to have her birthday party there. Not only did the kids have a blast, but Nicole was a dream to work with.
Finding fun things to do with a toddler is hard in the winter, and even harder in a pandemic. When the timing works out, our son likes to take us to The Shell in Hiawatha. It's in an an indoor sports complex with a turf floor that's perfect for toddlers that have no concern for their own safety.
