We were visiting Tahoe for a week and looking for things to do with my 2.5 y/o daughter. Went to the Open Play and she absolutely had a blast! The rooms were full of exciting toys, but not overly stimulating. Lots of cars including a nifty "roller coaster" that my daughter could push off of on her own.
Our out-of-town family reserved a two-hour playtime for our two-year-old. The best place outside a children's museum this grandmother has ever been! We all loved it! So did every every other guest it seemed, whether about one or about 80. So much to do!
I whole heartedly recommend Tahoe Tot Spot to anyone visiting or living in Tahoe with small children. It is one of the best summer or winter activities we have here, and with the new craft area there is something new to engage with every time you visit.
Try to bring my daughter here at least once a week. Always fun, plenty of toys and activities for the kids. The baby room is a great addition if your kids are little and you worry that they might be underfoot of the bigger kids who might be playing. The massage chair is pretty dope too!
