With a launch ramp for your boat (pretty narrow width though), a sandy beach and cordoned swimming area, clean restrooms and room to walk your "best friend", this smallish local park is perfect for residents of the Pocotapaug Lake area, or a visitor to the lake.
Such a BEAUTIFUL lake. The most clear and CLEAN water I have seen in this state. But don't get too excited people, it is posted every so many feet either no trespassing or residents only !!! I was so sad to see those signs, but who can blame them ?? Visitors ALWAYS seem to make a mess and leave it behind.
I love this! We have used their rec building for a baby shower and surprise birthday party. It was perfect for both occasions. The playground could use a little sprucing up but the kids are happy just to have things to climb and swing on anyway.
Great town asset. Must have town sticker for access. We kayak and there's quite a bit of power boat traffic. Be aware of wake and roll. Good basketball court and tennis courts too. Clean and well kept
