“Just wish they'd allow more time for birthday parties.”
What parents say
Scotty’s Playground is “the tallest indoor play structure in the Northwest.” It is named after Scott Banke who died of bone cancer in 2002 at 12 years old. Although it is at a Christian church, they welcome everyone for FREE!
Really fun for the kids and clean. Nice space with huge floor to ceiling windows that let in a ton of natural light. Stuff for kids up to probably age 10 or 11, but kids 2-4 might get a bit frustrated if they cant climb the platforms in the playground.
Wonderful local feature, run by volunteers. Donate to help maintain the facility as it was built to honor children in the community who have passed away from cancer. Great for a rainy day that is closer and cleaner than driving to Newberg McDonald's.
I havent been here in about 8 years, we use to go all the time until my friends broke out with hand foot and mouth disease. After that, I never came back. Everyone got it that played there and I got terrified to catch it. Today was our first day back for a birthday party.
