Playground At Fields of Fame

I was looking for a place to take the kid on the 95 degree day and remembered this place. Shade, shade, shade. There are 2 sets of equipment here for the kids plus settings 3 and a rock climbing wall. Unfortunately the "big kid" set was in the sun so basically the slides were lava. Lol.

They just redid this playground and they did a fantastic job leaving a bunch of the old growth oaks and pines around for good shade. It has multiple areas for kids of different ages and is designed to be inclusive for kids with lots of different abilities.

Great place to spend the day. Nice playground under large shade trees. Picnic tables, grills and gazebos make it a great place for a party. There is a second smaller playground on the backside of park as well. 10/26/25, They just redid the entire playground and it is fantastic. This is must do for the kids.

This is one BIG park. Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Soccer, Playground, Walk/Jog path, Concession Stand, Batting Cage, Picnic Areas, Multiple Bathrooms, etc... Plenty of parking, well maintained grounds. Bicycling, Rollerblading ok too.There are drinking fountains but no vending machines.
