Stopped for a native plant sale, and stayed a bit longer to explore. There are marked paths with signage about native plants and wildlife. Saw quite a few turtles and birds. Lovely views.
Was quiet and clean. They have done a great job with educating you about wildlife and native plants. The staff was friendly. We toured the grounds, walkways, greenhouse and garden. Stayed about an hour, but you could stay longer there relaxing on the rocking chairs and many benches.
This hidden gem is beautiful both inside and out, but the staff are the true pearls. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating making you feel like family as soon as you step through the door. There are activities for all ages.
Greeted warmly by staff. They were making their best efforts to accommodate us for canoeing even though we didn’t book in advance. We didn’t end up going but they made us feel welcome and tried their best which is what counts! Beautiful grounds for a short walk with kids
