What parents say
Great place for kids. SAFE! Very clean. We loved the squishy material for the floor.
Our 3 and 4 yr old granddaughters loved this place. There's a very cool fire engine climbing structure that I didn't get a picture of, and a "Grange" climbing structure. There's a bunch of swings, including one for special needs. There's a very large sand box with 2 metal "diggers" and other random toys.
The playground space was nice and large. It is basically a circle so you can see kids at almost any point. There are a bunch of swings, and slides. A large sandbox with a few toys, some aren't in the best shape. There is a small bike path on the grass over some small hills and a good size grassy area as well.
Says that the park is designed for 2-12 but I would definitely keep it geared towards the lower end. My 2 year old loves it and my 4 year old (who is more of a daredevil) would prefer somewhere with bigger structures and slides. Overall though for younger kids, this is a great play area!
Bringing a toddler?
Reviews and the venue's own info mention a dedicated toddler area or toddler times at Norfolk Community Park at Rockwood Road — a separate space where little ones can play without dodging big kids.
