It has a killer swimming pool and slides. There is alot of baseball games there. And it is kept of very well.
They really have a nice workout center at the MPR Community Center, and there are several nice parks around town. Don't forget Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. It's five miles east of town on Hwy 136, and has RV Park, tent camping, cabins, fishing, boating, a swimming beach, walking/cycling trails, nature/equestrian…
Great place to workout, clean environment, friendly staff. Reasonably priced as well for what you have access to including weight training room, cardio room with elliptical, a stairmaster, several treadmills; including 2 more advanced treadmills for cross country or a more diverse type of training.
One of the best gyms I have ever been to and the staff is always extremely nice!
