Lakeshore Sports Centre

More than just a rink, this place is a beating heart in our community. Welcoming and helpful staff and just a great local facility all around. Includes 2 ice rinks with heat-capable stands, and indoor field for versatile use. Many activities, games, and events year round, all usually posted on the center's website.

This is a wonderful indoor ice rink. Admission prices for public skate are reasonable ($10) and they have skate rentals! I brought my own skates and they were able to sharpen the blades for me as well! The cost for the blade sharpening was only $6, and it was so amazing that they were able to do it on site for me!

This was fun, but really scary for this 40 year old. I'm not young anymore and the fear of falling definitely was weighing on me. I'm not old enough that anything would break if I fell, but I might be sore for a couple days. I didn't fall, but I'm definitely out of practice with skating.

This place is amazing! A free "Skills and Drills" event tonight. Even though my son was by far the youngest, and out of his skill level, the coaches were very patient with him. No better place to get your children introduced to hockey.
