Oh, this place brings back so many memories. My mom would save up her paychecks to drive out to the children's garden and we would spend a whole day there. 10 years ago, it was much smaller yet it was still absolutely beautiful.
The Ithaca Children's Garden is an absolutely wonderful place to take kids! The garden is full of hands-on, interactive exhibits that allow children to learn about nature, gardening, and sustainability in a fun and engaging way.
Love this place!! Our favorite is the international mud day celebration and the fire and ice festival. Clean park for the kids to play, healthy food options!
A fun place where Kids and Dogs (On a leash) can enjoy building forts, tend to the huge fruit & vegetable garden and pretend throughout the Garden.There's a Giant Turtle that they can climb on. Lots of trails through Flower gardens. Signs explain what they are seeing. Frog pond where Kids can scoop out tadpoles.
