Just joined. Have had memberships at 3 other YMCAs. While I really like the old YMCA, it has gone the way of many formerly "Christian" organizations... very little resemblance to the original concept. That said, the facility is well maintained, and the staff at the front desk was very pleasant, efficient, and helpful.
I've been a member since before the new location first opened so I'm obviously happy. The staff is friendly. The equipment and facility are very good. It is a wonderful gym for families. My 14 year old loves it here.
We have been members of this YMCA for years. We love the kids sports programs for our kids. They love coming each week for practice and their games. Our kids and ourselves have made many friends and built community through the sports program.
Visited the Hutto Y for a virtual class. Very easy to find, clean, new. Lots of cardio and fitness machines and ample space for group classes. The cycling room is pretty small and it is smaller than Round Rock Y, but plenty of space. I will definitely return.
