What parents say
This zoo was so much fun! The animals had clean habitats with tons of stimulating toys. All the animals seemed relaxed and happy. The zoo was clean. Even wild geese seem to love the zoo and were nesting all over the place!
I brought my 2 kids here for a mini vacation for Spring Break. I read a few reviews before deciding between visiting Clovis or staying in Lubbock. We visited on Saint Patrick’s Day. The admission is inexpensive. Located in a park. This place isn’t bad, but it definitely needs some TLC and updates.
The zoo is really a great spot to visit at any time here in Clovis. They do a great job of keeping things clean, updating exhibits, and genuinely caring for the animals. The price is great and a family season pass is awesome for frequent visits.
This was a great roadtrip stop (6 & 8 year old)! Outside the zoo there were picnic tables and a soccer goal (also tables inside zoo). The admission was reasonable- and the zoo was not crowded. We were able to take our time and explore the zoo and see many animals up close. P.S. peacocks were everywhere- which was neat.
