Explorer's Cove Park

In the context of social distancing this playground is a gem as it's very secluded and hard to discover - you can't drive to it but have to approach it by foot on the trail from the south (park at the south end of Armando St). As a result it's very empty.

My 6-yo daughter had lots of fun playing here. Her favorite playground item was the rope swing where she can stand or sit on the disc and swing back and forth. The other attractions are okay, too, such as the rock climbing obstacles. It would've been nicer if there were some beach sand and a water fountain.

This was a great little stop at the end of our walk through the Anaheim Coves. **NOTE FOR PARENTS: there is no restroom at this end of the Coves.** That issue aside, it is a really nice park with a variety of age appropriate play spots.

Very cool park, plenty to do for the kids. Water fountain for both people and pets. I recommend taking bikes so you could ride the river bed trail which leads is part of the park.
