What parents say
This was a really cool experience. There were plenty of exhibits for the kids to enjoy. The staff here were very friendly and professional. We went on a rainy Friday morning and apparently it's a good day for field trips from schools. The place was packed.
We came with our 8y old. He and I both loved this museum. Wish we came earlier. Place is clean and has so many activities. Some staff seem cranky. But that happens. We will be back. As a teacher I got free entrance. Great!
Took the 5-year-old to a fun Saturday afternoon visit to the Acton Discovery Museum. First I can't wait to go back in the spring and summer because there was a lot to do outdoors but, we stuck to the inside activities because while it was sunny it was still cold.
Fun place. We’ve been on the weekends and it’s very busy. I usually get a library pass for the weekday and it’s more enjoyable. We started taking our toddler when she turned a year and could walk and she’s almost 3 now and loves each visit. You can bring food but have to eat in designated areas.
