Heads up– this park is primarily Astroturf and it gets super hot in the Florida sun/summer. Best time to come during the hot months (mid-April through Mid-October) is in the morning or evening. This is by far our favorite park! So many fabulous options for the kids to play.
Common Ground Park is one of Lakeland’s most thoughtful public spaces, especially for families. Designed as an inclusive playground, it goes beyond standard equipment and creates an environment where children of all abilities can play together.
We absolutely love Common Grounds Park! It’s gated, which makes it perfect for families, and there’s something fun for everyone to do no matter their age. It’s clean, safe, and a great place to spend the day with kids of all ages!
This is one of the best playgrounds for all children 2 to 13 years old. My 12 year old grandson loves it. It has a variety of areas to serve different ages or skills. It is always clean and safe.
