What parents say

This was my first time visiting Buttonwood and I’m glad I did! We visited on a Saturday and were pleased to see it wasn’t too busy. The park itself is small but well maintained with a decent amount of animals to see.

Great zoo! Perfect size for little kids. The animals all looked very happy and were well-cared for. The employees were kind and helpful. Prices for snacks and food were pretty reasonable. The zoo itself was clean and well-maintained, including the bathrooms.

Place is great! Nicely kept grounds and everything is spread out nicely for an enjoyable walk around without crowding. My kids loved it, especially the sensory touch tank and Emily the Elephant! The Cafe also has very affordable snacks and food options. My oldest loved his mini pizza!

Such an amazing smaller sized zoo. Unlike the big zoos you don't get lost or get turned around as easy. As it was October when we went, It wasn't too crowded. Good amount of animals. It is such a reasonably priced zoo. I would recommend it.
