What parents highlight
“I visited w/ my 1 year old and 4 other dads w/ 1 year olds - the playspace (area for 0-3 yr olds) reservation was sold out but we had no issue going in as a walk-in.”
What parents say
If you have a 3 - 8 year old drop what you are currently doing and head to Seaport! Dedicated areas for different developmental stages with lots of climbing, fine motor skills activities, and imaginative play. A three story giant climber in the lobby will give you a nice break as a parent, who doesnt need that right!?
The staff was so nice and patient, and we went during the 1-4pm Sunday afternoon time slots when tickets cost $1 for each person. It was a 3-floor building with a lot of interactive exhibits for the kids, including water tables and soap/bubble tables, and jungle gyms.
Great place for young kids! Lots of hands-on, interactive exhibits that keep toddlers and elementary-age children engaged and learning. Perfect for play and discovery, especially with younger children.
Loved loved loved this museum. So much to do and so interactive. So many elements make it fun and educational for a variety of age groups. Plenty of things to get active and pretend play
Bringing a toddler?
Reviews and the venue's own info mention a dedicated toddler area or toddler times at Boston Children's Museum — a separate space where little ones can play without dodging big kids.
